Sales Person for our Holsworthy Branch.

Tamar Trading Company Ltd is a well-established, successful and independent Builders Merchant. We are a family-run business seeking to provide an efficient, competitive service along with excellent customer satisfaction.

We are looking to recruit an ambitious and motivated Salesperson to join the team at our Holsworthy branch.

This role will involve handling customer enquiries and orders via telephone and email for our wide range of building materials, as well as targeting new customer accounts on the phone and out on site. You will also be required to assist at the sales counter.

The successful candidate will need to be comfortable liaising with customers and suppliers alike, preparing quotations, progressing orders and resolving queries.

Experience within the Builders Merchant industry would be ideal but not essential, as training is available. A good working knowledge of building materials, timber and plumbing products would be desirable.

We are seeking an individual with an enthusiastic approach to developing their role within the company. You need to be able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team and have a conscientious and friendly demeanour.

This will be a full time position. The salary will reflect the role and be commensurate with the candidates experience.

General Mason for J.E. Stacey & Co.

J. E. Stacey & Co Ltd is a long established, independent building and civil engineering company operating in Devon and Cornwall, working on a variety of quality projects including commercial, residential and heritage buildings.

We are looking for a full-time General Mason to join our busy team based in Holsworthy, Devon. 

The role will encompass a range of works from plastering, brick/blocklaying, roofing (slates/tiles), floor screeds, wall/floor tiling.

The successful candidate will have several years of experience in a number, if not all, of the types of work listed above. They will be motivated and have excellent standards of workmanship.

Company van (work use only), tools and PPE will be provided.
